eterson 3 P’s, otherwise known as Peterson Perfect Plug, takes select African and Brazilian Virginia leaf, blended with Malawian Burley leaf. After spending two weeks lightly cased, the tobaccos are dried and pressed, then heated and stored for a further two weeks, before being cut.
If you are new to plug tobaccos, this fruity and full bodied blend is a great place to start. The pressed brick inside the tin offers dried fruit aromas- date, raisin and prune – which come through subtly in the smoke.
Plug tobaccos should be cut with a sharp knife, against the grain, into thin flakes. Once flaked, prepare it for the bowl as you prefer. Peterson 3 P’s smokes superbly once cut into a light and fluffy crumb.
This perfect plug tobacco is available in 50g tins now, from the specialist tobacconists at Lincoln Watch Clinic.
